Bac Ninh wins 3 medals at National Fencing Championships

Bac Ninh athletes won gold medals in the men’s épée team.

The tournament attracted 200 athletes from 8 provinces, cities and sectors in the country including Bac Ninh, Hanoi, Hai Duong, Hai Phong, Quang Ninh, Thanh Hoa, Ho Chi Minh city and the People’s Public Security. The athletes competed in épée, foil, and sabre contents (individual and team) for 15 sets of medals.

Bac Ninh team had 18 athletes participating in the tournament. They competed in 6/15 contents and won 3 medals including 1 gold medal and 2 silver medals. The gold medals won by athletes Ngo Xuan Thanh, Le Ba Long, Nguyen Trung Kien and Nguyen Tuan Anh Kiet in the men’s épée team.

This is the playground to help athletes exchange and compete. It is also an opportunity to select excellent athletes for the National Fencing team to compete in international tournaments in the near future.
