Bac Ninh wins 6 medals at 2024 National Boxing Championship
(BNP) - The 2024 National Boxing Championship took place from September 13 to 18 in Can Tho city.
Bac Ninh delegation wins third prize in the men's category, age group 19-40.
The tournament attracted 350 athletes from 38 provinces, cities and sectors. The athletes were divided into 2 age groups: 17-18 and 19-40, competing in men's (14 weight categories) and women's (13 weight categories). Bac Ninh sent 14 athletes to participate in the tournament.
As a result, Bac Ninh ranked third in the men's category, age group 19-40, with 02 gold medals belonging to athletes Nguyen Van Duong (57kg), Nguyen Manh Cuong (86kg); 01 bronze medal belonged to athlete Nguyen Van Duong (over 92kg). In the women's category, age group 17-18, athlete Nguyen Thi Mai won silver medal (63kg); in the men's category, age group 17-18, athlete Nguyen Duy Quang won silver medal (92kg), bronze medal belonged to athlete Vu Duy Minh (over 92kg).
