Bac Ninh wrestling team exceeds medal target at National Sports Festival
(BNP) – Wrestling in the program of the 9th National Sports Festival in 2022 ended after a week of exciting competition at Gia Lam Gymnasium (Hanoi).
Athlete Tran Thi Anh receives the Gold Medal.
Taking place from December 5 to 11, 2022, more than 200 athletes from 22 sports delegations from provinces, cities and industries across the country competed in 11 men's freestyle and 11 female freestyle and 11 classical wrestling contents.
Bac Ninh province sent 19 athletes to compete in the content, excellently winning 13 medals of all kinds, including: 2 gold, 5 silver and 6 bronze medals (beyond the set target). Of which, 2 gold medals belonged to athletes: Tran Thi Anh, 65 kg class, freestyle wrestling; Nguyen Trong Nam, 50kg class, classical wrestling content.
