(BNP) - On the morning of September 14, Mr. Tran Cam Tu, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Party Central Committee's Inspection Commission visited, encouraged and presented gifts to the people of Bac Ninh province in the flood area affected by storm No. 3.

Joining the delegation were Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Head of the Provincial Delegation of National Assembly Deputies; Mr. Vuong Quoc Tuan, Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and Head of the Provincial Steering Committee for Disaster Prevention and Control and Search and Rescue; Members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, leaders of provincial departments and sectors and Gia Binh district.

Chairman Tran Cam Tu and provincial leaders directly visited and presented gifts to people affected by storm No. 3 in Tan Tien village, Cao Duc commune, Gia Binh district. He shared the difficulties that people in Tan Tien village, Cao Duc commune in particular, and the people of Bac Ninh province in general have suffered due to storm No. 3. At the same time, he praised the efforts and urgent, drastic, and highly responsible participation of the entire political system, local branches and sectors, and military and police forces, especially the people, in preventing and minimizing the damage caused by storms.

The Chairman requested Party committees at all levels, authorities, the Fatherland Front, armed forces, and socio-political organizations of Bac Ninh province and Gia Binh district to focus on overcoming the consequences of storm No. 3, with the highest priority being to stabilize and care for people's lives and restore and develop production and business.

On this occasion, Chairman Tran Cam Tu presented VND 3.2 billion from the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and businesses and units to support the people of Bac Ninh province to overcome the damage caused by storm No. 3. At the same time, he also visited, encouraged and presented 100 gifts to households in Cao Duc commune.

For his part, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Anh Tuan promised the Chairman of the Party Central Committee's Inspection Commission that Bac Ninh province would well implement the Central's direction related to overcoming the consequences of storm No. 3, promptly visit and encourage families affected and damaged by the storm as well as receive and hand over the support money from the Central Government and sponsoring units to the people.

The Secretary hoped that the people of Cao Duc commune would soon overcome their lives, stabilize production, and ensure that students could go to school safely and participate in their studies according to the curriculum.

On this occasion, some units supported the transportation of food and necessities by drones to support people in Cao Duc commune in an area isolated by rising water.
