Conference of evaluating organization of Festival "Coming back to Quan Ho land - 2023" held

(BNP) - On January 4, the Organizing Committee of Festival "Coming back to Quan Ho land - 2023" held a meeting to evaluate the progress of activities. Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and Head of the Organizing Committee Vuong Quoc Tuan attended and chaired the meeting.

Festival "Coming back to Quan Ho land - 2023" - Connecting the quintessence of intangible cultural heritages recognized by UNESCO, is expected to take place from February 24 to 28, 2023 in Bac Ninh city and districts and cities in the province. Among which, the main activity is the art program with the theme: "Shining the Quan Ho region"; The Quan Ho folk song singing on the boatwith the theme: "Sum hop truc mai". A number of activities will be held in districts and cities such as: Quan ho folk song singing contest in Quy Mao spring; Quan ho singing exchange at Quan ho brothels; street experience activities...

At the conference, Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism Trinh Huu Hung reported the progress of activities of the sectors, members of the Organizing Committee.

Concluding the conference, Standing Vice Chairman Vuong Quoc Tuan emphasized the meaning and importance of the Festival "Coming back to Quan Ho land" - Connecting the quintessence of intangible cultural heritages recognized by UNESCO. At the same time, he requested the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to coordinate with other sectors and members of the Organizing Committee to synthesize comments and suggestions for the overall program of the Festival as well as continue to review and develop the assigned tasks, ensuring on schedule and quality.

The press agencies promote propaganda about the activities and meanings of the Festival, creating a spreading power, promoting the cultural quintessence of Bac Ninh homeland to the people, domestic and international tourists, Tuan added.
