According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, on the morning of September 8, typhoon Yagi weakened into a low-pressure area in the mountainous areas of the Northeast. There is a high risk of flooding on rivers and streams, flash floods and landslides in some localities, so they must take special response measures.

At the same time, the functional agencies need to overcome problems in electricity, water, telecommunications and other areas for leadership, direction, production and business, and people's lives.
For solutions, the PM requested Party committees and authorities at all levels, relevant ministries and sectors to proactively and actively carry out tasks to overcome the consequences of the typhoon according to their assigned functions, tasks and powers. Relevant agencies must continue to maintain forecasting and communication work, pay attention to information and instructions on disaster response skills.
“In particular, localities must immediately compile statistics and immediately issue reserve rice, as much as needed. It is important to compile accurate and transparent statistics to avoid negative incidents”, Chinh stressed.
He called on people, businesses, agencies, localities and enterprises that did not suffer damage to support those that suffered damage, promoting the tradition of mutual love and support of our nation.
