Festival of revolutionary songs in 2018

(BNP) – To celebrate the 60th anniversary of Uncle Ho's visit to Bac Ninh, 110th bird anniversary of Comrade Ngo Gia Tu (December 3rd, 1908 - 2018), in the morning of October 30th, Standing Committee of Provincial Youth Union organized the Festival of revolutionary songs of Bac Ninh in 2018 with the theme "Youth move forward”

Organizing Committee awards honorable flags to teams

Attending the program were Mr. Nguyen Xuan Thu, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Mr. Nguyen Van Phong, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

The festival has the participation of 11 teams from districts, towns, cities and subordinate youth unions. Each team conducted three performances with different types of dance, group singing, duet, and single... Songs’ content focused on the theme of praise for the country, the Party, Uncle Ho; the role, responsibility and determination of Vietnamese youth in the cause of national construction and defense.

A performance of Youth Union of Provincial Public Sector

At the end of the festival, the Organizing Committee awarded 02 first prizes to the Youth Union of Provincial Public Sector and Youth Union of Gia Binh district; 03 second prizes to College of Statistics, Youth Unions of Tien Du district and Bac Ninh city; 03 third prizes to Bac Ninh Mechanical and Construction College, Youth Unions of Luong Tai and Thuan Thanh districts; 03 consolation prizes to Youth Unions of Yen Phong, Tu Son, Que Vo districts.

Festival of revolutionary songs of Bac Ninh province in 2018 not only meets the needs of spiritual life for youth union members in the province, but also offers the occasion for youth leaders to promote their musical talent, creates conditions for the local youth units to exchange and learn experience, to discover artistic talents for the cultural and artistic movement in particular and in the work of youths in general.
