(BNP) - Hoai Thuong communal house (Lien Bao commune, Tien Du district) was built a long time ago to worship the village's Thành Hoàng (tutelary god) “Tam vị Đông Quân”. In the Nguyen Dynasty, the relic was greatly repaired by the people.

According to local legends and the divine ordination in Hoai Thuong communal house said that the communal house worships three Dong Quan brothers, who had merit to help Hai Ba Trung fight the invaders of the Han Dynasty in the early years of AD.


 

At the same time, this is also a place to worship "Two Kingdoms Poinsettias" Nguyen Dang Dao - the son of his homeland who has done many good deeds.


 

Hoai Thuong communal house is a historical construction work and has been restored and embellished on a large scale. During the resistance war against the French, most of the items of Hoai Thuong Communal House were demoted. In 1992, the locality restored the Trung communal house.


 

In 2002, the relic continued to be repaired. Currently, Hoai Thuong communal house has the following work items: Thuong communal house (Emperor’s Harem), Trung communal house (Front Ceremonial Hall), Tam Mon (three gates.




 

The communal house preserves a number of precious antiques such as: the altar, kneeling down on the night fish, the book of letters, the incense, the palanquin and the bowl …




 

Currently, Hoai Thuong communal house still holds the ordinations for Nguyen Dang Dao under the dynasties: Tu Duc, Dong Khanh, Duy Tan, Khai Dinh...

Every year, on January 12, the festival takes place for 2 days at the communal house.


 

Hoai Thuong communal house was ranked as a national historical relic in 1994.
