In first 10 months of 2023, trade surplus estimated at USD 5.6 billion
(BNP) - In October 2023, the province’s total import-export turnover of goods reached USD 7.47 billion, an increase of 1% compared to previous month and a slight increase of 0.2% compared to same month last year.

Of which, export turnover of goods reached USD 4.27 billion, up 2.4% over the previous month and down 2.5% over the same month last year. Import turnover of goods reached USD 3.2 billion, down 5.2% over the previous month but up 3.9% over the same month last year.
Accumulated in the first 10 months of 2023, total import-export turnover of goods reached USD 60.2 billion, down 16.2% over the same period last year. Of which, exports reached USD 32.9 billion, down 15% over the same period last year, ranking 2nd in the country; imports reached USD 27.3 billion, down 17.5% over the same period last year, ranking 3rd in the country.
The trade balance of goods in 10 months was estimated at a trade surplus of USD 5.6 billion, equaling to 17.1% of export turnover.
