Industrial Production Index in August increases by 13.63%

In the industry of manufacturing the electronic, computer and optical products still maintained their production and business activities as planned in 2021, increasing 15.64% over the previous month and 7.43% over the same month last year.

Generally, in 8 months, IIP increased by 9.81% over the same period last year. Specifically, the index of the industries decreased compared to the same period last year such as: Textile, wood processing and production of products from wood, bamboo; manufacture of other non-metallic mineral products; manufacture of beds, cabinets, tables and chairs. A number of industries had high indexes compared to the same period last year such as: Beverage production; production of costumes; manufacture of motor vehicles; manufacture of other means of transport.
