Monitoring implementation of Youth development program of Bac Ninh province during 2021-2030 period in Gia Binh district

(BNP) - On November 26, the Provincial Youth Union organized a monitoring session on the implementation of the Youth development program of Bac Ninh province during the 2021-2030 period in Gia Binh district. Attending the event were leaders of the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs; representatives from provincial departments and sectors.

Currently, Gia Binh district has more than 11 thousand young people (aged from 16 to 30), accounting for more than 20% of the district’s population. In recent years, Gia Binh district’s youth have promoted the tradition of solidarity, creativity, initiative, volunteerism, overcoming difficulties, implementing synchronous solutions, achieving many important and comprehensive results in emulation movements.

At the working session, the delegation exchanged and discussed some contents related to the implementation of the Youth development program’s targets; policies for youth; career guidance and vocational training for youth; attention to disadvantaged youth and slow-growing youth; issues with the living environment; solutions to support youth in starting a business; development of non-state Youth Union organizations in Gia Binh district, etc.

The delegation suggested that in the coming time, Gia Binh district should strengthen state management of youth work; promote movements, spirit of volunteerism of young people to participate in economic development, maintain national defense, security, social order and safety, and gather young people to build a strong association.

At the same time, the district directs and effectively implements policies and resolutions on youth work, including youth development goals in the annual socio-economic development plans of units and localities to effectively implement the Youth development program in the province for the 2021-2030 period.
