NA Standing Committee promulgates Resolution on establishment of Tu Son city
(BNP) - The National Assembly Standing Committee issued Resolution No. 387/NQ-UBTVQH15 on the establishment of Tu Son city in Bac Ninh province.

According to the Resolution, Tu Son city is established on the basis of the entire 61.08 km² natural area and population size of 202,874 people of Tu Son town, Bac Ninh province. Tu Son city has 12 wards; bordering Tien Du district, Yen Phong district and Hanoi city.
People's Court and the People's Procuracy of Tu Son city are established on the basis of the People's Court and the People's Procuracy of Tu Son town.
The Resolution takes effect from November 1, 2021.
Agencies, organizations and units whose names are associated with the place names of Tu Son town must complete the renaming to operate with the name Tu Son city.
Thus, Bac Ninh province has 8 district-level administrative units, including 06 districts and 02 cities; 126 commune-level administrative units, including 89 communes, 31 wards and 06 townships.
