Political system and people of Gia Binh district set miracle in site clearance of Gia Binh airport

Gia Binh Airport project was approved by the Prime Minister in the investment policy in Decision No. 98/QD-TTg dated September 17, 2024. This is a national key project on security and defense. The scale of phase 1 uses about 125 hectares of land in Xuan Lai commune and Gia Binh township. With the important nature of the project, right after the decision of the Prime Minister, the leader of the Provincial People's Committee presided over many meetings. He asked departments, branches and Gia Binh district to urgently review and advise the proposal of the site clearance plan, strive to hand over the site of phase I before December 1, 2024 to the Mobile Police Command to implement the project.

With a high determination, after only 4 days of paying compensation and support, the locality has basically completed the site clearance more than 100 hectares, achieving an unprecedented "miracle" in land reclamation projects in Bac Ninh. This demonstrated the high political resolve and unity of the entire political system in the province. This achievement sets a new foundation for directing, managing, and implementing policies in land clearance, creating new momentum for economic development, as well as encouraging people across the province to align with and support the government in building and improving infrastructure systems and implementing investment attraction projects.

Recently, Gia Binh district has paid compensation, supporting site clearance for households with land in Gia Binh airport project. The work of compensation and site clearance is implemented by the authorities at all levels and functional agencies in accordance with regulations. The propaganda and mobilization of households with land to abide by the Party and the State's policies also achieved results, creating a high consensus of the people.

On November 15, Gia Binh district paid compensation, supporting site clearance for households with land in the project, finishing 15 days earlier than the plan. As of the afternoon of November 18, 694/697 households having land received money and handed over the ground; 249/260 households with assets on the land received compensation. The remaining households are due to working away from home, arranging work to receive compensation, handing over the ground to the local government.

In addition, the province has also built a resettlement plan for cases of residential land acquisition; mobilize parents to move the children studying at Xuan Lai Commune Kindergarten to be recovered to the new study location and strive for 6 months with a replacement preschool; deploying in parallel with the movement of electricity and water for people's daily life ...
