Provincial leaders meet and reward Samsung Vietnam Complex

Provincial leaders award Certificate of Merit to individuals with achievements of Samsung Vietnam Complex

Participants at the meeting were Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Head of the Provincial Delegation of National Assembly Dao Hong Lan; Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Quoc Chung; Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Huong Giang; Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vuong Quoc Tuan; members of the Provincial Standing Party Committee, the Provincial Permanent People's Council and People's Committee; leaders of relevant departments and branches.

Representatives from Samsung Vietnam Complex were General Director of Samsung Vietnam Complex Choi Joo Ho; leaders of Samsung Complex and factories in Bac Ninh.

At the meeting, General Director Choi Joo Ho gratefully thanked for the supports of the Central Government and Bac Ninh’s authorities during Samsung’s maintenance and restoration of production despite the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic, especially the 4^th outbreak of the epidemic.

He pledged to strictly follow the epidemic control measures of the central agencies and locality to overcome difficulties and earn the best results, thus contributing to the local development. On the other hand, Samsung Vietnam complex hoped that Bac Ninh’s authorities would continue to provide more support in all production and business activities as well as the epidemic control. In the forth coming time, Samsung Vietnam Complex will speed up the implementation of the signing of a memorandum of understanding with 3 provinces including Bac Ninh, Bac Giang and Vinh Phuc, which will play as a basic for replication to other provinces and cities in the region.

Secretary Lan expressed her pleasure to meet and welcome leaders of Samsung Vietnam Complex and representatives from Samsung factories in Bac Ninh, sharing that since Samsung chose Bac Ninh as an investment destination, generations of provincial leaders have always determined the local responsibility for all business activities, considering its success as the success of the province.

Lan affirmed that the contributions of Samsung Vietnam and other businesses in the province have contributed to the high growth rate of Bac Ninh compared to other provinces and cities in the country.

 In coming time, she hoped the business community in the province, especially Samsung Vietnam continue to promote production and business, take care of workers' lives as well as perform well the social welfare activities in the province. Bac Ninh is committed to always accompanying, sharing and supporting businesses to improve the efficiency of production, business and long-term investment in the province.

On this occasion, 05 individuals of Samsung Vietnam Complex with achievements in epidemic prevention and control and socio-economic development of Bac Ninh province were awarded the Certificate of Merit from the Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee.
