Provincial People’s Committee holds a conference for organization of Festival "Coming back to Quan Ho land - 2023"

(BNP) – In the morning of December 7, the Provincial People's Committee held a conference for the organization of the Festival " Coming back to Quan Ho land - 2023" and cultural activities before, during and after the Lunar New Year - 2023. Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vuong Quoc Tuan chaired the Conference.

According to the plan, the Festival Program " Coming back to Quan Ho land - 2023", connecting the quintessence of the intangible cultural heritages recognized by UNESCO, which is expected to take place from February 24 to 28, 2023 in Bac Ninh city and the districts in the province. The festival consists of 4 main activities: Art performance with the theme "Shining Quan Ho land"; The program of Quan ho folk songs singing on a boat at the lake area in front of the headquarters of the People's Council - Provincial People's Committee; the exhibition of "Color journey of Intangible Cultural Heritage representing the regions"; the exhibition fair of "Displaying products of traditional craft villages, OCOP products of Bac Ninh province in 2023".

In addition, there are series of activities responded such as: Exhibition, competition of ornamental creatures; Exhibition of precious stones, ornamental stones, jewelry; Spring Newspaper Festival; Exhibition of "Buddhist Heritage of Bac Ninh Province"; Quan ho singing exchange and so on.

The cultural activities before, during and after the Lunar New Year of Quy Mao – 2023 consist of Art performance to welcome the new year 2023 and New Year's Eve of the Lunar New Year.

At the conference, Standing Vice Chairman Tuan asked departments, sectors and localities to complete the detailed plan.

Media agencies promote propaganda on the mass media about activities to celebrate the Festival; advertise and introduce the quintessential and unique values of Bac Ninh Quan Ho Bac folk songs and the traditional cultural history of Bac Ninh, thereby, creating a great spread, attracting and impressing people and visitors, Tuan added.

The conference also spent time meeting to discuss the coordination of organizing the National Cultural Workshop organized by the National Assembly's Committee for Culture and Education in the province on December 17, 2022 at Kinh Bac Cultural Center.
