(BNP) - On February 3 (January 6, lunisolar calendar), Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Anh Tuan visited and extended Tet greetings to workers at the Viglacera Social Housing Area. Joining the delegation were members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee including Mr. Dao Quang Khai, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee; Mr. Ha Sy Tiep, Head of the Provincial Party Committee’s Commission for Propaganda and Mass Mobilization; leaders of departments, sectors and Yen Phong district.

Viglacera is a unit with many contributions in the field of industrial park infrastructure development, investment attraction and social housing of the province. The Viglacera Social Housing Project has completed phase 1 investment with an area of ​​9.6 hectares, preparing to implement phase 2 with an area of ​​9.65 hectares, contributing to the successful implementation of the target of 1 million social housing units as set by the Prime Minister. At the same time, it contributes to the formation of a synchronous and modern industrial, urban, commercial and service ecosystem.

Secretary Nguyen Anh Tuan directly visited the apartments where workers are living and the kindergarten campus in the Viglacera Social Housing Area. He hoped that Viglacera would continue to contribute to improving the criteria and urbanization rate for Bac Ninh, attracting workers from other localities to live, work and contribute to the province.

Tuan requested that Yen Phong district would urgently coordinate in site clearance for the construction of phase 2 of the project; the Department of Construction and the Department of Planning and Investment to cooperate in proposing policies to attract investment and selecting investors for the ecological urban area in Yen Phong, ensuring the goal of both urban development and social housing development for workers of high-tech industrial projects in the coming time.
