Strengthen cultural exchange activities in localities between Vietnam and Japan

The art program themed “Cultural colors of Vietnam – Japan” takes place in Bac Ninh.

There were 103 Japanese projects in operation in Bac Ninh province, ranking 3rd out of 40 countries and territories, making an important contribution to the province’s socio-economic development. Especially, in terms of culture, Bac Ninh province received lots of attention and support from the Japanese Government, localities, universities, organizations and scientists in archaeological work and the preservation of traditional crafts.

Today, the expansion in both scale and quantity of Vietnamese Festivals and Japanese Festivals, as well as cultural exchange activities taking place regularly in the localities of the two countries, have been bringing people, organizations and businesses of Vietnam and Japan closer together. It not only contributes positively to the socio-economic development of each country but also serves as a bridge to help strengthen understanding and attachment between the two peoples. It is also an important foundation for long-term friendship and cooperation between the two countries in the future.

As part of a series of activities celebrating the 50th anniversary of the establishment of Vietnam and Japan diplomatic relations, the program entitled "Meet Bac Ninh - Japan" was successfully organized with many messages on cooperation and investment agreed and signed between Japanese organizations and enterprises and the Bac Ninh province authorities. In particular, the art program themed “Cultural colors of Vietnam – Japan” is a unique cultural exchange event based on the traditional cultural colors of Vietnam – Japan, thereby, introducing and honoring the beauty of traditional culture and the strong friendship between the two countries and peoples; between Bac Ninh province and Kanagawa prefecture as well as Japanese localities, organizations and enterprises.
