Attending the ceremony were Mrs. Dao Hong Lan, Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of Provincial Party Committee; Mr. Nguyen Van Phong, Vice Chairman of Provincial People's Committee; leaders of some departments, bureaus (under Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development) and provincial departments and sectors.

Bac Ninh College of Electromechanics and Construction is now one of 45 schools approved by the Prime Minister to turn into a high-quality school. Its current focuses are to build and organize training in the direction of diversifying the type of training, approaching regional and international standards.

In the 2017 - 2018 school year, thanks to the efforts and suitable solutions, the Bac Ninh College of Electromechanics and Construction has achieved great results in a variety of fields. In particular, the graduation rate reached at 98%; over 95% of students have jobs as soon as their graduation with an income of VND 4 - 9 million per month. Many students attended and won high prizes at contests organized by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development. A wide range of subjects and initiatives at the root level are applied effectively in schools. Especially, at the 12^th ASEAN Professional Exams in Thailand, the school dispatched two students attending and excellently winning 01 Gold Medal for Brick Building major and 01 Certificate of excellent skill for Electrical Engineering major.

With the theme "Enhancing the application of information technology in school administration, improving the quality of lectures, and completing criteria for high-quality school”, in the 2018 - 2019 school year, all cadres, teachers and nearly 3,000 students of the school will actively study and implement the Directives, Resolutions of the Party and State’s policies and laws, especially focus on the application of information technology in the management and teaching, emulate in accordance with the slogan "good teaching, good learning and good serving". Besides, it is needed to promote the emulation movement, actively participate in social activities and mass unions, protect the working and studying environment, organize healthy extracurricular activities, thereby, helping students to be confident, active, and creative in studying and scientific research.
