Trinh clan ancestral house

(BNP) – Trinh clan ancestral house (Dinh village, Tri Phuong commune, Tien Du district) was established in the Le Dynasty (about the 17th century). Over time, during the resistance war against the French in 1952, it was destroyed by the enemy. In 1965, the new clan ancestral house was rebuilt with 3 small compartments.


The clan ancestral house has an architecture of Chinese “Nhat” letter with 5 compartments.

The clan ancestral house kept many documents and antiques such as thrones and tablets of ancestors, ordination, horizontal lacquered board, couplets, diplomas, mandarins, genealogies, and worshiping objects.

Trinh clan ancestral house was classified as a provincial historical and cultural relic by the Provincial People's Committee in Decision No. 1626/QD-UBND dated December 21, 2012.
