Vice Chairman Dao Quang Khai works with LS ELECTRIC Group

At the meeting, Mr. Lee Kun Wook said that LS ELECTRIC Group is a pioneer in manufacturing electrical equipment, automation solutions and building energy industry in Korea. The group now has 04 factories in Korea, China and Vietnam.

In Bac Ninh, the Group is building a factory in Yen Phong expanded Industrial Park with an area of ​​about 03 hectares, specializing in manufacturing products such as medium and low voltage cabinets, transformers and other electrical equipment. This will be the first smart factory energy (rooftop solar power) in the North. It is expected that the factory will put into operation in August 2022, creating jobs for about 500 - 1,000 employees with the revenue of about USD 200 million by 2030.

Mr. Lee Kun Wook thanked the leaders of provinces, departments, branches and localities of Bac Ninh for facilitating the Group to implement the project in Bac Ninh. At the same time, he expressed his hope to receive attention and support so that the factory will be put into operation on schedule as well as be secured for long-term operation in the province.

For his part, Vice Chairman Khai affirmed that the construction of the factory in Bac Ninh was the right choice of the Group. Thanks to the favorable geopolitical position, attractive investment policies, and an open business environment, up to now, Bac Ninh has become a province with fast socio-economic development with many indicators in the top of the country. The province has now more than 1,700 FDI projects from 38 countries and territories with a total investment of nearly USD 23 billion, and Korea is the leading country in terms of both the number of projects and capital .
