Vice Chairman Nguyen Anh Tuan attends Great National Solidarity Festival in quarter 5, Pho Moi ward

(BNP) - On November 3, Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council attended the Great National Solidarity Festival (Festival) in quarter 5, Pho Moi ward, Que Vo town. Leaders of departments, sectors and Que Vo town also attended the festival.


Vice Chairman Nguyen Anh Tuan and leaders of the provincial departments and sectors present the “Uncle Ho - Uncle Ton” photo and gifts to quarter 5.

Quarter 5 currently has 226 households with 1,031 people, mainly retired officials, officials, civil servants, and public employees working at state agencies and units, and workers in enterprises. In 2024, the officials and people of quarter 5 have promoted the spirit of solidarity, striving to effectively implement the 5 contents of the emulation movement “All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas”. Therefore, the people's lives have been gradually improved and enhanced, the quarter has no more poor or near-poor households. Especially, the quarter has 3 typical households in the movement of donating land for road construction, which is a shining example widely spread in Pho Moi ward.

In 2024, the quarter has 224/226 households achieving the title of “Cultural family”, reaching a rate of 99%; the model of "Learning family" is developed and replicated, 100% of the deceased are cremated. Environmental sanitation is concerned, people comply well with traffic safety and fire prevention.

Speaking at the festival, Vice Chairman Nguyen Anh Tuan acknowledged and congratulated the achievements and results of the officials and people from quarter 5. At the same time, he briefed on the province’s recent outstanding socio-economic development results.

At the festival, Vice Chairman Nguyen Anh Tuan awarded the Certificate of Merit from the Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee to the Front Working Committee of quarter 5 for its outstanding achievements in implementing the campaign “All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas in 2023-2024”. Pho Moi Ward People's Committee awarded Certificates of Merit to exemplary cultural families and families who donated land for road construction.
