Visiting National Historical and Art relic - Tieu Pagoda
(BNP) - Located on the slopes of Tieu Son mountain, Tieu pagoda (also known as Thien Tam Tu, Luc To pagoda), Tuong Giang ward, Tu Son city is an ancient temple. It was built from pre-Le dynasties to Ly dynasties. It became the major Buddhist center of the country. Up to now, Tieu Pagoda still retains its ancient and unique features as well as a tourist destination to attract a large number of people and tourists from all over the world.
Tieu pagoda also worships Mother, Ancestor, and Zen master Van Hanh, who was instrumental in bringing Ly Cong Uan to the throne and Zen master Thich Nhu Tri.
In front of the pagoda’s gate is a large lake. There is a pagoda of Buddha and Quan Am in the middle of the lake.

Currently, the pagoda has Ancestral house, Tam Bao (three treasures), Tam Quan (three gates), bell tower, guest house, Tieu Son cave, tower garden...
Tam Bao has the layout plan in the style of Chinese “Dinh” letter.

Tieu Pagoda still preserves a number of valuable documents and artifacts, especially the bell "Trang Lieu tu chung".
The tower garden consists of 15 towers.
Located on the top of Tieu Son mountain is an 8m high statue of Zen Master Ly Van Hanh, in the zazen position, facing the Thang Long citadel.
Tieu Pagoda was ranked as a national historical and artistic relic by the State according to Decision No. 154/QD dated January 25, 1991.
