Yen Phong District Medical Center inaugurated

(BNP) - On the occasion of the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam and the 70th anniversary of Vietnamese Doctors’ Day, the Department of Construction held the inauguration ceremony and installed the signboard of the 9-storey building and technical systems of Yen Phong District Medical Center under the Investment project to renovate and upgrade Yen Phong District Medical Center, with a scale of 300 beds on February 3 (January 6, lunisolar calendar).


Secretary Nguyen Anh Tuan and delegates cut the ribbon to inaugurate the District Medical Center.

Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Delegation of National Assembly Deputies attended the ceremony. Participants also attending the ceremony were members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee including Mr. Dao Quang Khai, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee; Mr. Ha Sy Tiep, Head of the Provincial Party Committee’s Commission for Propaganda and Mass Mobilization.

The Yen Phong District Medical Center project is invested by the Bac Ninh Civil and Industrial Construction Investment Project Management Board, with a total cost of more than VND 316 billion from the central and provincial budget for the 2021 - 2025 period. The project is built on an area of ​​more than 2.0 hectares, with a scale of 300 hospital beds. The project is completed 2 months ahead of schedule, ensuring technical quality, aesthetics, labor safety, environmental sanitation and fire prevention. When put into operation, it will optimally meet the task of taking care of people's health.

On behalf of the provincial leaders, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Dao Quang Khai acknowledged and commended the Department of Construction and related departments and branches, Yen Phong District People’s Committee, investors and contractors for their efforts to complete the project ahead of schedule.

Khai requested the Department of Construction to direct the investor to coordinate with departments and branches to promptly resolve difficulties and problems in the process of implementing the bidding for the next items. The Department of Health and the District Medical Center need to plan to move and install the invested medical equipment to the new building for the hospital’s activities; receive management, operation, use, and maximize investment efficiency, improve the quality of medical examination and treatment for the people.
