The competition is held to mark the 25th anniversary of the “All People’s Day for Fire Prevention and Fighting and Rescue” (October 4, 2001 – October 4, 2026), aiming to enhance professional expertise, tactical skills, and incident-handling capacity for firefighting and rescue forces across the province.

It also seeks to promote emulation movements in professional training, facilitate experience sharing, and effectively implement the “four on-the-spot” principle, thereby minimizing serious fire and explosion incidents that cause loss of life and property.

According to the plan, the competition will be divided into two categories:

For sectoral firefighting and rescue forces (units equipped with fire engines): Two events will be held, including the 100m firefighting and rescue water-spraying formation and the 4x50m relay for rescue and firefighting. Approximately 24 teams are expected to participate. The competition is scheduled for June 2026 at February 3 Square, following about 30 days of training.

For the Bac Ninh Provincial Firefighting and Rescue Police Force (3rd edition): Four events will be organized, including 100m obstacle race; 4x100m firefighting and rescue relay; rescue swimming; and rescue operations in smoke- and toxic gas-filled environments. Around 17 teams are expected to join. The competition is scheduled for September 2026, after 15 days of training.

The Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee has assigned the provincial Police as the standing agency to take the lead in organizing the event, developing regulations, establishing the Organizing Committee and the Jury, and overseeing the competition. Relevant departments and sectors will coordinate to ensure funding, healthcare, security, communication, and facilities.

Departments, agencies, localities, and enterprises are responsible for forming teams, organizing training, ensuring athlete safety, and coordinating the implementation of the plan.

The competition is expected to contribute to improving the quality of firefighting and rescue forces, meeting the requirements of new tasks, and ensuring the safety of people’s lives and property as well as businesses across the province.
