(BNP) - On the afternoon of August 28, at the Provincial Conference Center, the Bac Ninh Provincial Red Cross Association coordinated with other units to organize a program to support the Cuban people on the occasion of the 65th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Cuba.
Chairwoman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee Nguyen Thi Ha and delegates participate in supporting the Program.
The campaign to support the Cuban people with the theme “65 years of Vietnam - Cuba friendship” was launched by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Red Cross Society. The program will take place in 65 days (from August 13 to October 16, 2025). The goal is for the whole country to mobilize at least VND 65 billion to support medical supplies, necessities and sustainable development cooperation. Thereby, contributing to helping the neighboring country overcome difficulties.
In Bac Ninh, the Provincial Red Cross Association launched a program to support the Cuban people from August 28 to October 16, 2025. The goal of the whole province is to strive to mobilize at least VND 6.5 billion to contribute to providing food, essential necessities and supporting sustainable humanitarian activities for the Cuban people.
At the Program, the Provincial Red Cross Association received support from units, organizations and individuals. At the same time, the Association awarded the Golden Heart plaque to units, organizations, businesses and individuals who participated in the support.
Immediately after the launching ceremony, delegates attending the Program donated to support the Cuban people.
The Provincial Red Association said that from the time of the appeal until 3:00 p.m. on August 28, 2025, 120 groups and individuals had supported Cuba with a total amount of VND 2 billion 268 million.
The campaign to support the Cuban people launched by the Provincial Red Cross Society will continue until October 16, 2025.
