(BNP) - The Provincial People's Committee recently signed Decision No. 1924/QD-UBND, granting permission to Hightech Infrastructure Investment and Development Joint Stock Company to construct two rainwater and wastewater drainage gates serving the Chau Minh - Bac Ly - Huong Lam Industrial Park, Phase 1.
The Chau Minh - Bac Ly - Huong Lam Industrial Park is oriented towards the synchronous investment in technical infrastructure, linking industrial development with environmental protection.
The two items will be constructed at K5+486 and K5+709, on the left bank of the Ngo Khong II Pumping Station drainage canal, in Xuan Cam commune; the canal is managed by Nam Song Thuong Irrigation Works Exploitation Company Limited.
According to the design, the rainwater drainage gate at K5+486 consists of 3 reinforced concrete culvert sections, each 2.5m wide and 2m high. The backyard area and canal banks are reinforced along a length of 19.2m, contributing to the stability of the structure and limiting erosion during operation.
The wastewater discharge point at K5+709 is connected to the centralized wastewater treatment plant by a D600 HDPE pipeline, with a maximum discharge capacity of 4,000 m³/day. The treated wastewater must meet column A of QCVN 40:2025/BTNMT standards before being discharged into the drainage canal.
The Provincial People's Committee requires the investor to construct according to the approved design documents; to coordinate closely with the canal management unit, and to avoid affecting the operation and structure of the irrigation works. In case of damage, the enterprise must promptly rectify the problem and bear all costs.
After completion, the investor is responsible for dredging the canal bed, removing soil, sand, and spilled materials, restoring the surface, and ensuring smooth water flow. The Department of Agriculture and Environment is assigned to preside over the inspection and supervision of the permit implementation; Nam Song Thuong Irrigation Works Exploitation Company Limited directly monitors the construction process and receives the completed project.
The Chau Minh - Bac Ly - Huong Lam Industrial Park, Phase 1, has a scale of 105.5 hectares, with a total investment of over VND 1,256 billion, and was approved by the Prime Minister in Decision No. 972/QD-TTg dated September 13, 2024. The implementation of the two discharge gates is an important step to complete the synchronous drainage and wastewater treatment infrastructure, linking industrial park development with environmental protection and the safety of irrigation works.
