The Ambassador emphasized that Bac Ninh continues to be an attractive destination for foreign investors, including those from Singapore, thanks to its favorable investment climate, strategic location, and high-quality workforce. He noted that many major Singaporean enterprises are operating effectively in the province, and affirmed Singapore’s desire to further strengthen cooperative ties with Bac Ninh.
He also reaffirmed his commitment to serving as a bridge to promote greater engagement, encouraging Singaporean businesses to expand their investment and cooperation in the province. The Ambassador expressed his hope that Bac Ninh’s authorities would continue to create favorable conditions for investors to explore and implement new projects.
Singapore has implemented several large-scale projects in Vietnam, most notably the Vietnam–Singapore Industrial Parks (VSIP), which are present in multiple localities such as Ho Chi Minh City, Bac Ninh, and Hai Phong. Looking ahead to 2026, marking the 30th anniversary of VSIP development in Vietnam, Singapore plans to expand the VSIP network to approximately 30 projects nationwide. In this context, research is underway for the potential development of VSIP III in Bac Ninh. The Ambassador expressed his expectation that the province would support and facilitate the implementation of this project.
In addition to promoting trade and investment, Singapore remains committed to supporting Vietnam in general, and Bac Ninh in particular, across various sectors—especially in education and training of high-quality human resources. Cooperation in leadership and management training for officials was also highlighted as a priority area, contributing to the sustainable and comprehensive development of Vietnam–Singapore relations.
