(BNP) - On the afternoon of October 13, the Provincial People's Committee held a conference to meet and honor outstanding businesses and entrepreneurs on the occasion of the anniversary of Vietnamese Entrepreneurs Day (October 13, 2004 - 2025).

Provincial leaders attending the conference were Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Thi Huong; Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vuong Quoc Tuan; Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Viet Oanh.

On behalf of the provincial leaders, Chairman Vuong Quoc Tuan sent congratulations and gratitude to businesses and entrepreneurs in the province on the occasion of Vietnam Entrepreneurs' Day (October 13). At the same time, he quickly informed about the socio-economic development situation in the province in the first 9 months of 2025, with many indicators continuing to rank among the top in the country. GRDP growth reached 10.12%; industrial production value reached over VND1.7 million billion, up 15.3% over the same period; export turnover exceeded USD 65.7 billion, up 26.4%, ranking second in the country.
The whole province attracted more than USD 4.8 billion in FDI capital, ranking second in the country. With over 5,400 newly established enterprises, the whole province currently has more than 33,500 operating enterprises, contributing over 53% of the total domestic budget revenue, creating stable jobs for hundreds of thousands of workers and actively participating in social, humanitarian and charitable work.

By 2025, the business sector is estimated to contribute over 53% of the total domestic budget revenue, accounting for a large proportion of the province's total GRDP, creating stable jobs for hundreds of thousands of workers, and actively participating in social, humanitarian and charitable activities.

Also at the conference, delegates, businesses, and business associations supported people affected by natural disasters and floods in the province with a total amount of over VND 4 billion.
