(BNP) - On July 22, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vuong Quoc Tuan worked with Hanoi University of Culture on the implementation of the construction of the school's second campus in Bac Ninh.

Hanoi University of Culture currently has a training scale of more than 10,000 students, trainees and graduate students with 23 majors/specialty at the University level, 3 Master's majors and 3 PhD majors. It is expected that by 2030, the school's training scale will be 15,000 students and trainees; by 2035, the scale of 20,000 - 25,000 students and trainees will be seen.

At the meeting, Chairman of the Council of Hanoi University of Culture Truong Dai Luong hoped that Bac Ninh province would consider allocating the school an area of about 25 - 30 hectares of land in the area planned as the "University Village" of the province.

Mr. Vuong Quoc Tuan affirmed that the province will introduce a suitable location for Hanoi University of Culture to implement the investment project to build campus 2 according to the criteria set out in the opinion and proposal of the school.

Regarding the proposed funding to support site clearance, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee said that Bac Ninh province is currently prioritizing funding allocation to implement national target programs, especially social security programs for ethnic minorities, remote areas.

Bac Ninh province will accompany, coordinate and create all conditions for the school in the implementation process and promote the project as well as pay attention to investing in infrastructure in neighboring areas, Tuan added.
