Vice Chairman Pham Van Thinh works with Taiwan Electrical and Electronics Manufacturers Association (TEEMA)

(BNP) - On the afternoon of June 5th, Vice Chairman of Bac Ninh Provincial People's Committee Pham Van Thinh chaired an online working session with the Taiwan Electrical and Electronics Manufacturers Association (TEEMA) to exchange information, strengthen connections, and promote investment cooperation.

At the meeting, TEEMA representatives thanked Bac Ninh province for creating favorable conditions for Taiwanese businesses to operate, and also made several recommendations related to personnel, certificates of origin, inspection and auditing activities, and business operations.

Vice Chairman Pham Van Thinh stated that Bac Ninh is aiming to become a leading high-tech industrial center, innovation center, research and development center, and electronics and semiconductor manufacturing center in Vietnam. The province prioritizes attracting high-tech projects with high added value and hopes to strengthen connections with Taiwanese electronics, semiconductor, and strategic investors through TEEMA.

The Vice Chairman proposed that both sides establish a mechanism for regular information exchange, enhance coordination in organizing investment promotion activities, connect businesses, support investment surveys, develop high-quality human resources, and build a high-tech industrial ecosystem.

Regarding TEEMA's proposals, the province committed to creating favorable conditions for businesses in areas such as employing foreign experts, recruiting labor, issuing certificates of origin, and conducting production and business activities. The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee affirmed that Bac Ninh wishes to become a long-term and reliable development partner of the Taiwanese business community, and expressed confidence in the significant potential for cooperation between the two sides in the future.
