(BNP) - On the morning of February 5th, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Hoang Son visited and extended New Year greetings to the Bac Ninh Traditional Medicine and Rehabilitation Hospital.

With a planned capacity of 300 beds and an actual capacity of 387 beds, Bac Ninh Provincial Traditional Medicine and Rehabilitation Hospital is a Grade II specialized hospital at the provincial level that is directly managed by the Department of Health. It has 200 medical staff members and doctors who have professional qualifications and practice certificates, guaranteeing adherence to health sector regulations.
In 2025, the hospital is expected to receive 28,500 inpatient visits, a 2.5% increase over 2024; outpatient treatment will reach 14,000 visits, exceeding the assigned plan by 116.6%; and the electronic medical record (EMR) system will be successfully implemented, eliminating the need for paper records.

Currently, the hospital continues to develop new techniques and successfully implement many diagnostic and treatment techniques such as: thread embedding for treating lipid disorders, electro-acupuncture for treating tinnitus, spinal manipulation techniques, and electro-acupuncture for treating Bell's palsy… The hospital is also investing in technology and striving to become a high-tech rehabilitation center for patients in the province and region.

Speaking at the meeting, Chairman Pham Hoang Son praised and highly appreciated the achievements in medical examination and treatment by the hospital's team of doctors and medical staff.
The Chairman requested that the Board of Directors, officials, doctors, nurses, and staff of the Hospital continue to strive, innovate, and contribute their efforts and intellect to improve the quality of medical examination, treatment, and healthcare for the people, commensurate with the local’s socio-economic development.
