(BNP) - On February 5th, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Hoang Son visited and presented gifts to war veterans and disadvantaged households in Bac Giang ward.

Chairman Son and his delegation paid a visit and offered gifts to Mrs. Duong Le Thi (born in 1925), a veteran revolutionary and 81-year-old Party member who lives at No. 7 Vo Thi Sau Street in Tien Giang. They also paid a visit and offered gifts to Tran Ngoc Phuong (born in 1945), a Hero of the People's Armed Forces who lives at No. 36 Hung Vuong Street, Residential Area 4.

During his visits, the Chairman inquired politely about the health and living situations of veteran revolutionaries and Heroes of the People's Armed Forces.

The Chairman wished the veteran revolutionaries and Heroes of the People's Armed Forces good health and happiness with their families. The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee cordially inquired about the health and living conditions of the individuals. He also requested that local authorities continue to do a good job in social welfare, paying attention to and caring for the material and spiritual well-being of those in difficult circumstances in the area, so that they can stabilize their lives as soon as possible.
