(BNP) - In October 2025, the industrial production index (IIP) continued to maintain its growth momentum and had a fairly high increase (up 20.84%) compared to the same period last year, reflecting the stable economic situation of the province.
The electronic components manufacturing industry is still the leading manufacturing industry, accounting for a large proportion and maintaining an impressive growth rate.
Specifically, the industrial production index in October increased by 20.84% compared to October 2024, of which the food processing industry increased by 2.07%; the garment manufacturing industry increased by 31.94%; the electronic, optical, computer and electronic components manufacturing industry increased by 26.31%; the water supply industry increased by 26.43%.
In the first 10 months, the IIP index is estimated to increase by 16.45%, in which the manufacturing and processing industry is the largest industry and continues to maintain its important role with an increase of 16.6%; mining decreased by 8%; production and distribution of electricity, gas, hot water, steam and air conditioning increased by 2.73%; water supply, waste and wastewater management and treatment activities increased by 20.53%.
Key products still have strong growth such as: Computer spare parts of all kinds increased by 7.85 times; peripheral devices increased by 3.66 times; laptops, Ipads increased by 2.1 times; Smartphones increased by 2.1 times over the same period. The industrial production value in October is estimated at VND 250,857 billion, up 18.4% over the same period; The value in 10 months reached VND 1.99 million billion, up 13.64% over the same period./.
