In his opening remarks, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism, Do Tuan Khoa emphasized that Bac Ninh was a land of "a hundred crafts," a hub for long-standing traditional craft villages deeply imbued with national cultural identity. In the context of international integration, the province consistently focused on preserving and promoting the values of craft villages in tandem with tourism development, gradually bringing handicraft products to wider markets and contributing to socio-economic growth.

This year's exhibition aimed to introduce the public and tourists to the unique cultural values, the people, and the representative craft village systems of Bac Ninh as well as other Northern provinces. The exhibition space was diversely arranged, featuring craft product displays, specialty culinary areas, and folk art performance zones, including Quan Ho folk songs and Dong Ngu water puppetry.

Through the exhibition, Bac Ninh province expected to create opportunities for artisans, businesses, designers, and tourism units to meet, exchange, and promote trade connections. Simultaneously, it contributes to promoting Bac Ninh's cultural and tourism image to a wide range of domestic and international visitors.

The exhibition would take place from March 25 to 30, 2026, featuring approximately 40 booths displaying handicraft products from Bac Ninh and 10 other Northern provinces and cities, alongside 20 booths introducing OCOP (One Commune, One Product) products, agricultural goods, specialties, and representative cuisine.

This was a meaningful cultural and tourism activity, contributing to honoring heritage values, preserving and promoting traditional craft villages, and driving local tourism and socio-economic development./.
