(BNP) - On the occasion of the 104th anniversary of the birth of comrade Le Quang Dao on August 8 (1921-2025), a delegation of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Fatherland Front Committee and Delegation of National Assembly Deputies led by Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Viet Oanh offered incense at the Memorial Site and Memorial House of comrade Le Quang Dao in Tu Son ward.
The delegation offers incense and flowers at the Monument of Comrade Le Quang Dao.
Attending the incense offering ceremony Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Huong Giang; Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Xuan Loi; Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission Nguyen Dinh Loi; Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Commission Vu Tri Hai; leaders of the Provincial Delegation of National Assembly Deputies, the Fatherland Front Committee, a number of provincial departments, branches and sectors and Tu Son ward.
The delegates solemnly offered flowers and incense to commemorate comrade Le Quang Dao, a steadfast and creative leader, an excellent student of President Ho Chi Minh, and an outstanding son of his homeland Bac Ninh.
Comrade Le Quang Dao's birth name was Nguyen Duc Nguyen, born on August 8, 1921 in a family with a patriotic tradition in Dinh Bang commune, Tu Son district, Bac Ninh province (now Tu Son ward, Bac Ninh province).
During more than 60 years of revolutionary activities, comrade Le Quang Dao was entrusted by the Party, State and People with many important responsibilities such as: Secretary of the Party Committee of Bac Ninh and Phuc Yen provinces; Secretary of the Hai Phong City Party Committee; Secretary of the Hanoi City Party Committee; Deputy Director of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army; Head of the Central Science and Education Commission; Chairman of the National Assembly; Vice Chairman of the State Council; Chairman of the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.
In all his positions, Comrade Le Quang Dao always made efforts, devoted himself wholeheartedly, and completed all his tasks excellently. He was a fine example of an exemplary communist, a true patriot, and an excellent student of President Ho Chi Minh. He always had a strong will, a dedicated working spirit, and fought all his life for the Party's ideals and the happiness of the People.
Delegates visit the exhibition area, introducing the life and career of comrade Le Quang Dao.
Learning from and following the example of comrade Le Quang Dao, the Party Committee, government and people of Bac Ninh province pledged to uphold the revolutionary heritage, unite, overcome challenges, advance patriotic emulation movements, successfully fulfill the established goals and tasks, and build Bắc Ninh into a centrally governed city before 2030.

After the incense offering ceremony, delegates visited the display of documents and artifacts at the Memorial Area and offered incense at the Memorial House of Comrade Le Quang Dao in Tinh Cau quarter, Tu Son ward.
