(BNP) - On the afternoon of August 24, Mr. Mai Son, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Provincial Exhibition Organizing Committee and leaders of departments, branches and units inspected the progress of the implementation of the exhibition booth displaying culture and socio-economic achievements of Bac Ninh province on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam at the National Exhibition Center (Dong Anh, Hanoi).

The exhibition “80 Years-Journey of Independence - Freedom - Happiness” took place from August 28 to September 5 at the National Exhibition Center (Dong Anh, Hanoi), with the participation of 34 provinces and cities, 28 ministries, branches, 94 private enterprises, 12 state-owned enterprises nationwide with 230 indoor and outdoor booths, aiming to introduce the country's outstanding achievements over the past 80 years.
This is the largest exhibition ever. At the exhibition, the booths will focus on introducing artifacts, images of ethnic cultures typical of regions, and achievements in socio-economic development of localities throughout the country.

With the theme 'Bac Ninh – A Thousand Years of Culture, Aspiration to Rise in the New Era,' the exhibition aims to vividly portray Bac Ninh province’s 80-year journey of construction and development alongside the nation, overcoming challenges and affirming its place on Vietnam’s map of socio-economic progress and rich cultural diversity.

The exhibition space in Bac Ninh province is 345 m² and is divided into 6 modules. It displays still photographs, technology projections, high-tech objects, and video clips on various topics. Bac Ninh is an important part of national history, with successes in politics, the economy, science and technology, culture and society, and national defense and security. Bac Ninh people are dynamic, creative, and ambitious.
At the cultural space exhibition area, Bac Ninh province will perform intangible cultural heritage of Quan Ho folk songs, Dong Ho folk paintings, Vinh Nghiem pagoda woodblocks, Then village violin (Tan Dinh commune) and some local specialties...

Currently, the exhibition booth of the province and many booths of localities, ministries, branches and enterprises have been basically completed. According to the plan, the opening ceremony of the exhibition will take place at 9:00 on August 28, the closing ceremony will be at 20:00 on September 5.
