Vice Chairman Ngo Tan Phuong inspects and urges progress of investment project to build Ring Road 4 and Kenh Vang Bridge

(BNP) - On the afternoon of August 6, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ngo Tan Phuong and leaders of relevant departments and branches inspected and urged the progress of the implementation of the investment project to build Kenh Vang Bridge and the roads leading to the two ends of the bridge; the investment project to build Ring Road 4 - Hanoi Capital Region (section passing through Bac Ninh province).

The investment project to build the Kenh Vang Bridge and the roads leading to the two ends of the bridge, connecting the two provinces of Bac Ninh and Hai Duong (now Hai Phong city), has a total route length of 13.396 km, a bridge length of 743 m, and a total investment of nearly VND 2,200 billion, which will be implemented between 2021 and 2027.  The project consists of two packages, Nos. 14 and 15.  The overall value of the construction volume of the consortium of contractors for package No. 14 is around 29.9%, while package No. 15 is about 6.6%.

The compensation and site clearance plan for Ring Road 4 - Hanoi Capital Region (section through  Bac Ninh province) has been approved at 99.98%, with the remaining 695 m2 in Chi Lang commune still uncleared.  The tasks of relocating the 110kV - 500kV high voltage power line have been mostly finished, and the site has been turned over to the Component 2.3 project for construction.

Directly inspecting the construction sites of projects in Trung Kenh commune, Chi Lang commune, and Hap Linh ward, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ngo Tan Phuong requested that the Management Board of Bac Ninh Province's Traffic and Agriculture Project No. 2 and contractors remain proactive, mobilize human resources, and prepare materials to carry out the work in accordance with the critical path and schedule.

The Vice Chairman requested that the supervisory units must ensure that there are enough people regularly present at the site to supervise in order to ensure quality, progress, time and absolute safety at work. The project investor concentrates on guiding contractors based on the contract and existing conditions, accelerating payment progress in order to meet the standards set by the province.
