Vice Chairman Ngo Tan Phuong visits and presents Tet gifts to Provincial War Invalids Rehabilitation Center

(BNP) - On the afternoon of February 6th, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ngo Tan Phuong, along with leaders from the Department of Internal Affairs and the Provincial People's Committee Office, visited and presented Tet gifts at the Bac Ninh Provincial War Invalids Rehabilitation Center.

The Center is currently caring for and nurturing 12 severely wounded and disabled veterans from the province, with a disability rate of 81-95%. Simultaneously, it collaborates with local authorities to provide rotational, centralized care for approximately 4,600 war veterans annually.

Over the years, the Center has consistently focused on assigning medical staff to rotate in providing healthcare and rehabilitation services; monitoring the health status of each wounded and sick soldier; and emphasizing hygiene, disease prevention, and ensuring a clean and beautiful environment and landscape.

Presenting meaningful gifts to wounded and sick soldiers at the Center, Vice Chairman Ngo Tan Phuong expressed deep gratitude for the contributions of the wounded and sick soldiers.

The Vice Chairman also highly appreciated the efforts, sense of responsibility, and thoughtfulness of the staff and officials of the Center.

The Vice Chairman requested that the Center proactively coordinate more closely with relevant agencies and units to improve the quality of comprehensive care for war veterans, both physically and mentally.

The Vice Chairman also expressed his hope that war invalids, sick soldiers, and meritorious individuals, with their prestige, experience, and dedication, would continue to encourage and educate their children and grandchildren, spread positive values ​​in the community, and contribute to building a more prosperous and sustainably developed Bac Ninh province.

On the occasion of the Lunar New Year, the Vice Chairman sent New Year greetings to all officials, employees, and war invalids at the Center, wishing them a warm and joyful Lunar New Year of the Horse.
