20 farms recognized free from disease
(BNP) - Implementing project on strengthening capacity of State management on veterinary medicine industry in 2012-2020 period, up to now, 20 livestock farms are recognized as disease-free including 8 poultry farms and 12 pig farms. It is expected that by the end of 2022, 05 more farms in the province will be recognized as disease-free.

57 livestock farms have applied modern and advanced technologies such as closed cages equipped with cooling system, automatic temperature control and feeding, biogas tanks, bio-products ... Specifically, 02 farms have automated entire production process, 04 farms have applied information technology in breeding management; especially, 6 livestock enterprises under DABACO Group Joint Stock Company are granted certificates of high-tech agriculture by the Provincial People's Committee.
Along with the increase in the number of livestock farms, business and production facilities; quarantine, slaughter control, veterinary hygiene inspection of animals and animal products are also strengthened to ensure the proper procedures; the number of quarantined procedures, the number of tested and controlled animals and animal products increases over the year.
The province has issued quarantine certificates for more than 1.4 million castles, more than 105 million poultry; 124 million fingerlings, 303 million poultry eggs; more than 37,000 tons of animal products used as food and more than 3,200 tons of animal products not used as food ... thereby, contributing to the prevention and control of diseases and providing safe food with clear origin for the people.
In addition, conditions for trading and storage of veterinary drugs are under strict control while samples are taken for quality control of veterinary drugs in order to promptly detect and handle violations. Up to now, 83 samples have been tested to evaluate product quality and all products meet standards.
