Bac Ninh strengthens work of protecting, preserving and promoting value of National Treasures
(BNP) - The Provincial People's Committee directed the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Provincial Public Security, the People's Committees of districts, towns, and cities strengthen the work of protecting, preserving, promoting the value of National Treasures and preparing records of artifacts to request recognition as National Treasures, phase 13, 2024.

Accordingly, the Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to preside and coordinate with relevant agencies and units to enhance the effective implementation of tasks of protecting, preserving and promoting the value of National Treasures in the area. In particular, the relevant units make, complete and timely deploys special protection plans for each National Treasure; clearly identify the organization and individual responsible; timely and proactively report and inform relevant agencies when there are actual developments affecting the absolute safety of National Treasures.
The province prioritizes investment in funding to renovate and upgrade works, technical infrastructure and specialized equipment for preservation warehouses and National Treasure display areas at the museum, where National Treasures are kept at the museum to ensure that the National Treasure is placed in a special preservation regime. The preservation must be made into a specific plan, ensuring scientific and legality to be submitted to the governing body for review and approval. The preservation process must strictly comply with preservation principles, processes, and techniques, and with the coordination and guidance of scientists in related fields and preservation experts.
In addition, units make and effectively deploy separate programs with attractive content, diverse forms, easy dissemination to promote the value of National Treasures to people at home and abroad.
The Provincial People's Committee also assigned the Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism to preside over and coordinate with relevant sectors, localities, and units to review and evaluate the value of treasures in the area and prepare documents (when eligible) according to instructions, report to the Provincial People's Committee to request the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism to appraise and submit to the Prime Minister for consideration and recognition as National Treasures, phase 13, 2024, according to regulations.
