Chairman Nguyen Tu Quynh works with Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations

(BNP) – Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Tu Quynh on October 10th worked with a Delegation led by Deputy Chairman of Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations Bui Khac Son.

Also attending the meeting were Mr. Nguyen Tien Nhuong, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee; Mr. Nguyen Sy, former Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, former Chairman of the Provincial People's Council and former Chairman of the Provincial Union of Friendship Organizations; Mr. Tran Ngoc Thuc, Director of Foreign Affairs Department, Chairman of the Provincial Union of Friendship Organizations and leaders of relevant departments and sectors.
 
On behalf of provincial leaders, Chairman Nguyen Tu Quynh introduced outstanding achievements of province’s socio-economic development in the past time. Thanks to the open investment environment with attractive incentives, Bac Ninh has attracted 1,000 FDI enterprises from 31 countries and territories including big investors from Japan, Taiwan, Korea, Singapore, the US and Europe such as Samsung, Microsoft, Suntrory- PepsiCo, Foster, Mapletree, etc., with registered capital investment of around USD 12.5 billion.
 
The Chairman confirmed that these achievements were made partly from important contribution of provincial friendship organizations and members. He hoped Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations to continue enabling the Provincial Union of Friendship Organizations to operate effectiveness.
 
Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Chairman of the Provincial Union of Friendship Organizations Bui Khac Son highly appreciated attention of Committees and authorities for operation of Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations in last term, contributing to socio-economic development, defense and security assurance in the locality.
 
He affirmed that Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations would always plays as a bridge to support the Provincial Union of Friendship Organizations in exchanging and connecting with organizations and people in the world.
