Chairman Vuong Quoc Tuan works with Bac Ninh city on implementation of key projects

(BNP) - On November 9, the Steering Committee for the implementation of Resolution 25 held a conference to review the investment and construction plan for a number of key projects scheduled to start construction in 2025 and the following years in Bac Ninh city. Mr. Vuong Quoc Tuan, Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Steering Committee chaired the conference.


Overview of the conference.

Delegates at the conference were Ms. Tran Thi Hang, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Standing Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council; Mr. Dao Quang Khai, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Mr. Ta Dang Doan, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Secretary of the Bac Ninh City Party Committee and Mr. Ngo Tan Phuong, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

During the conference, delegates listened to and gave opinions on investment implementation plans for a number of key projects scheduled to start construction in 2025 and the following years in Bac Ninh city.

Progress of the project to invest in the construction of technical infrastructure and auxiliary works of Van Mieu Park, implemented from 2024 - 2027 with a total investment of more than VND 691.9 billion. The project’s infrastructure and auxiliary items are built on an area of ​​about 4.7 hectares, and expected to start construction on January 1, 2025. Uncle Ho Memorial House is located at the center of the technical infrastructure area of ​​Van Mieu Park, expected to start construction in November 2025, completed before May 19, 2026. The Uncle Ho Memorial House project alone is invested with socialized capital.

Chairman Vuong Quoc Tuan highly appreciated the design consultant's ideas, contributing to creating a mark, uniqueness and having its own space and nuances. He suggested some additional contents to create highlights for the project and connectivity with the surrounding area such as: deploying a tunnel space connecting to the Provincial Martyrs' Monument; studying to remove the median strip on some sections of Ly Thai To Street; arranging green space, space for organizing events, etc.

The project to build technical infrastructure for route H1, about 2.7 km long, starting point adjacent to DT.286, Van An ward, ending point near the intersection with Hanoi-Lang Son railway, Vo Cuong ward, is divided into 2 phases (phase 1 implemented from 2024–2027, phase 2 implemented from 2027–2030). Among which, phase 1 has a total investment of VND 1,070 billion.

The Chairman requested Bac Ninh city and the consulting unit to continue researching, completing, and reporting to the Provincial Party Standing Committee on November 18.

The Kinh Duong Vuong 3 and Truong Chinh road projects are over 1.17 kilometers long; development is planned to begin in the first quarter of 2025 and be completed in 2026. Chairman Tuan requested that the Department of Planning and Investment, Bac Ninh city, and relevant agencies review the Phuc Ninh urban area project, study and propose a plan to implement the above-mentioned road project, and report to the Provincial People's Committee for consideration.
