At the meeting, Mr. Philippe Broianigo said that Central Retail Vietnam is a member of Central Group - one of the largest retail groups in Thailand. Established in 2011, up to now, Central Retail Vietnam is a multi-sector FDI retailer in Vietnam, consisting of 3 main business categories: shopping mall, food and non-food with 37 commercial centers, 230 stores in 39 provinces and cities nationwide.

He appreciated Bac Ninh province’s potentials and advantages in developing services and trade. Central Retail Group hoped that the province introduces a location to deploy the project of building Go shopping mall in Bac Ninh with an area of about 2-3 hectares as well as connect with manufacturers and product suppliers to bring the province’s products and goods into business in the group's system.

Speaking at the meeting, Chairwoman Nguyen Huong Giang affirmed Bac Ninh has been currently considered as a comprehensively developed province in a variety of fields with lots of leading socio-economic targets. Particularly, GRDP ranked 2nd; the scale of economy ranked 8th; export turnover ranked 2nd; foreign investment attraction ranked 4^th, etc.

On the other hand, Bac Ninh also aims to increase the proportion of the trade - service sector and develop high-tech agriculture. Currently, Bac Ninh has 40 OCOP products and wishes to bring these products into supermarkets with an aim to increasing income for farmers and provide clean agricultural products, protect consumers' health. The above factors are very favorable and suitable conditions for the Group to invest and build a commercial center in Bac Ninh.

The Chairwoman assigned the Department of Construction to survey and introduce suitable locations for the Group to deploy the construction of a commercial center in Bac Ninh.
