Chairwoman Nguyen Huong Giang receives Consul General of Laos PDR in Ho Chi Minh city

Chairwoman Nguyen Huong Giang and Ms. Phimpha keomixay at the meeting.

At the meeting, Giang overviewed the outstanding achievements in the province's socio-economic development with many indicators in the top of the country.

She also briefed on the results of her business trip to Lao PDR, especially the signing of a cooperation Memorandum of Understanding for the period of 2022 – 2025, the handover of a number of infrastructure projects supported by Bac Ninh province for supporting Houaphanh province, the performances to promote Quan Ho folk songs as well as strengthen cooperation relations with some localities of Laos in June.

Giang hoped that the Consul General Phimpha keomixay would contribute to fostering the friendship between the two countries and localities as well as introduce Laos' large enterprises and investors to study and invest in Bac Ninh.

For her part, Ms. Phimpha keomixay congratulated and highly appreciated Bac Ninh’s achievements in all fields. Affirming the special relationship between the two countries Vietnam - Laos, she hoped that the friendship between the two countries as well as Bac Ninh and Hua Phan provinces would be tightened further in the coming time.

As the Consul General, she promised to actively promote and introduce Laos' large enterprises and corporations to study and invest in the province, contributing to promoting the province's general socio-economic development.
