Co Trach House
(BNP) – Co Trach house in Van Duong ward, Bac Ninh city, was built a long time ago. In the past, it was thought to be the home of the Mother Goddess. After her death, local people took her old house as a place of worship and called it Co Trach House to commemorate her merits for giving birth to Saint Tam Giang.

The relic is located at the beginning of the village, bordering Chu Mau area, about 500m north of Van Mau Temple. In front are Van Duong Primary School and Van Duong Kindergarten, surrounded by residents.

The construction includes Co Trach House, Dam Nuong Worshiping House and Guest House.
Currently, Co Trach house has an architectural structure of Chinese “Nhi” letter, including Hau Cung (Emperor’s Harem) and Tien Bai (Front Ceremonial Hall). The Emperor’s Harem is a 3-room brick house, roofed with hook tiles. The Front Ceremonial Hall was restored in 1994, the wooden frame is linked by 4 rows of horizontal columns, 6 rows of vertical columns.
The stone column is carved with exquisite patterns.
Bronze bells are carved with artistic patterns.
Some typical artifacts are worshiped at the Co Trach House such as: 5 Ordinations from the 18th - 19th centuries, 1 incense pot in the 17th century, 1 Horizontal lacquered board in the 19th century, ...

Dam Nuong Worshipping House consists of 3 compartments (Dam Nuong - the youngest daughter of Mrs. Phung Thi Nham) located to the left of Co Trach house. The structure is designed in the style of the Chinese "Dinh" letter.

The 5-room guesthouse, built in 2002, is located to the left of Co Trach house, with a corrugated iron roof.

Co Trach House was ranked as a national architectural and artistic relic at the Decision No. 100-VH/QD dated January 21, 1989.
