Delegation of Bac Ninh province visits and works in Dublin, Republic of Ireland
(BNP) - Continuing its series of research activities and working in Europe, a delegation of Bac Ninh province led by Alternate member of the Party Central Committee and Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vuong Quoc Tuan visited Dublin (Republic of Ireland) from August 8 to 11.

Joining the Bac Ninh provincial delegation were Colonel Nghiem Dinh Trung, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Commander of the Provincial Military Command, and leaders of provincial departments and sectors.
During the visit and working in Dublin (Republic of Ireland), Standing Vice Chairman Vuong Quoc Tuan and the Bac Ninh provincial delegation researched and worked on the Smart Dublin City Management Program (Smart Dublin) - a successful project of the Government of Republic of Ireland implemented over a period of 7 years from 2016 - 2023.
At the meeting, Managing Director of Smart Dublin Nicola Graham and members of the Head of Project Operations, under Dublin City Council government introduced to the delegation about the overview of the program scale, the phases of implementation as well as the great achievements that Smart Dublin brings to the capital and people of the Republic of Ireland.

Standing Vice Chairman Tuan emphasized that, besides the great advantages of Bac Ninh nationwide, one of the concerns of provincial leaders is to take key preparatory steps for future plans for long-term and sustainable development in the face of the challenging demands of the actual situation. Therefore, the meeting in Dublin (Republic of Ireland) was of great significance.
On the other hand, the Standing Vice Chairman asked Dublin City Council to share experience, discuss and make specific mechanisms so that the two sides can coordinate, learn and advance to additional research stages for a smart city model of Bac Ninh province in the future. At the same time, he hoped that the two sides would continue to have programs to enhance exchanges and promote bilateral cooperation in the coming time.
