Delegation of Houaphanh province (Laos) visits and extends Tet greetings to Party Committee, authority and people of Bac Ninh province

Receiving and working with the delegation were Mrs. Nguyen Huong Giang, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Provincial People’s Council; Mr. Vuong Quoc Tuan, Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee; Mrs. Nguyen Thi Ha, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairwoman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee.

On behalf of the Bac Ninh province’s leaders, Mrs. Nguyen Huong Giang respectfully thanked the delegation for visiting and extending Tet greetings to the Party Committee, authority and people of Bac Ninh province. She sent wishes of health and happiness to the delegation, and wished Houaphanh province to develop further. Giang briefed on the province’s outstanding socio-economic situation. She also emphasized that 2024 is the first year that Bac Ninh has completed 19 out of 19 targets for socio-economic development, security, national defense, building a clean and strong Party and authority; and it is the first province in the country to issue a policy to support human resource training in the semiconductor industry.

In order to honor the friendship between Bac Ninh and countries and territories with investment projects in the province as well as localities having friendly cooperative relations with the province, Bac Ninh has built an International Friendship Park to display symbols of countries and territories. It is hoped that Houaphanh province will research and place symbols here, contributing to strengthening the friendship between Vietnam and Laos in general and Bac Ninh and Houaphanh in particular.

Secretary and Governor of Houaphanh province Kham Pheng Xay Som Pheng thanked Bac Ninh for its attention and support over the years, helping Houaphanh province develop better. He hoped that in the coming time, Bac Ninh province would continue to help Houaphanh province in education, trade, infrastructure investment; regularly exchange culture, information, and have many practical and meaningful mutual support activities, contributing to firmly consolidating the solidarity and friendship between the Party, authority and People of the two countries.

On the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025, the Secretary and Governor of Houaphanh province sent his best wishes to the Party Committee, authority and people of Bac Ninh province for a new spring of peace, prosperity and continued success He wished the friendship between the two countries and the two provinces to always develop, connect and strengthen.
