Deploying State budget – finance task for last 6 months
(BNP) - On July 7, Ministry of Finance organized an online conference to summarize the State budget - finance task in the first 6 months and to deploy the State budget – finance task for the last 6 months of 2020. Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc attended and directed the Conference.

At Bac Ninh venue, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Huu Thanh and leaders of relevant departments and branches attended.
In the first 6 months, total state budget revenue was estimated at VND 668.7 trillion, reaching 44.2% of the estimate, a year-on-year decrease of 10.5%. Of which, central budget revenue reached 41.8% of the estimate; local budget revenue attained 47.4% of the estimate.
Total State budget spending until the end of June 2020 was estimated at VND 729.4 trillion, or 41.8% of the estimate. In particular, the State budget spent about VND15.3 trillion for pandemic prevention and control and support for people facing difficulties due to the Covid-19 pandemic. In addition, the central budget spent nearly VND 1,700 billion to support localities in the fight against African swine fever and overcome consequences and restore production after natural disasters (drought and saline intrusion).
In order to strive to complete at the highest level the task of socio-economic development and state budget collection in 2020, the Ministry of Finance continues to improve its institutions, accelerate administrative reforms, increase investment attraction for economic development;, remove difficulties for production and business; well- implement tax laws and state budget collection tasks in 2020; strive to reduce the tax debt to below 5%...
Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc urged the ministries, branches and localities to focus on directing the effective implementation of socio-economic development solutions and the 2020 state budget estimate.
Delivering at Bac Ninh venue, Vice Chairman Nguyen Huu Thanh asked units of the Finance sector to do well the work of advising to complete the objectives and tasks on management of state budget revenues and expenditures in 2020.
He also requested Provincial Tax Department and Provincial Customs Department to coordinate closely with the concerned units to take measures to combat budget loss and tax evasion.
