Enhancing comprehensive cooperation between Hanoi and Bac Ninh

Recently, Hanoi and Bac Ninh have implemented cooperation contents, achieving many important results in building the Party and political system; promoting socio-economic development, ensuring security, national defense and social welfare, which are suitable to the strengths of each locality.

Furthermore, the two sides have actively organized annual investment, trade and tourism promotion programs; exchanged information and policies, supported and created favorable conditions for enterprises to cooperate, invest in production, business and consumption of goods.  

In addition, the two localities have also paid attention to investing in the development of the transportation system to meet the demand for transporting goods and passengers from Hanoi to Bac Ninh and vice versa. Hanoi and Bac Ninh develop intercity tourism routes and tours between Hanoi and Bac Ninh, Hanoi - Bac Ninh - Bac Giang - Lang Son; especially the spiritual festival tours, visiting traditional craft villages,...

For his part, Secretary of Hanoi City Party Committee Hoang Trung Hai was impressed of socio-economic development of Bac Ninh province in recent years and clearly affirmed the role and position of Bac Ninh in the Northern key economic region.

Noting results of coordination between departments, branches, and mass organizations of the two sides, Hanoi City Party Committee Secretary suggested that in the coming time, functional units should promote the achieved results of cooperation, pushing strong exchange of comprehensive cooperation between Hanoi and Bac Ninh. In each field, a detailed cooperation plan should be made to further promote the potentials and advantages of each locality.

Expressing the gratitude for the good feelings that the Party, authority, and people of the Capital have reserved for Bac Ninh province, Secretary of Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Nhan Chien wished, in the near future, the two provinces and cities would continue to promote the strong relationship. The conference would create an impetus for new developments in cooperation of the two localities, he added.

On this occasion, on behalf of the Party, government and people of the Capital, Hanoi Party Committee Secretary Hoang Trung Hai donated Bac Ninh province 3 billion VND to perform the task of social security, poverty reduction.
