Group meeting "Parenting for comprehensive child development" in Que Vo town held
(BNP) - On the evening of December 4, the Provincial Women's Union attended the group meeting themed "Parenting for the comprehensive children development" in Pho Moi ward, Chau Phong commune (Que Vo town).

Parents with children aged 0-8 years old in project implementation units participated in activities with the following topics: Getting to know each other; parenting skills; health care, nutrition for children; intellectual development and playing with children; preventing child abuse; child safety.
The group meeting with the message "No one is perfect, but I can be the best parent," aimed to help parents improve their knowledge and skills, as well as obtain greater inspiration and confidence in raising their children.
These activities are part of the "Parenting for comprehensive child development" project for the period of 2023 - 2025, which is being piloted in Bac Ninh, Ca Mau provinces, and Hai Phong city under the Cooperation Program between the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union, the Ministry of Labor, Invalids, and Social Affairs, and the United Nations Children's Fund in Vietnam.
To date, the project has been implemented in 4/8 districts, towns and cities in the province, including Gia Binh and Luong Tai districts (2023), Bac Ninh city and Que Vo town (2024) with 396 groups, 8,200 parents and caregivers with children aged 0-8 participating. In particular, in Que Vo town, it is implemented in 5 localities: Pho Moi ward, Dai Xuan ward, Bang An ward, Viet Hung ward and Chau Phong commune.
